How HAIL handles assessment data. Have this reviewed before public launch.
Assessment answers, scored metrics, optional team name, optional email (only if you Save or Upgrade), archetype result, share slug, Save tokens, and optional contact form contents. Session starts (without email) for abandonment analytics.
To deliver your hero diagnosis, restore a free result in-browser for 30 days, send Save/activation email when you opt in, process paid entitlements, and improve the product.
If you leave an address, we send the mail you asked for (Save link, purchase activation, replies to the contact form) plus automatic reminders: a 30-day retest nudge after a free Save, and occasional recaps for free users who have not upgraded. Every automatic email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops those automatic messages; it does not delete results or paid access. Use the contact form to request deletion of an account-linked run.
Cloudflare (hosting + D1). Email provider (e.g. Resend/MailChannels) for transactional mail. Stripe for Premium/Portfolio checkout.
Anonymous unsaved, unshared runs are hard-deleted after 30 days. Saved, shared, or claimed (emailed) runs are retained so private Save links and share cards keep working. Contact the owner to request deletion of an account-linked run.
